Out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Founded on April 16th 2016, POWERHOUSE was originally consisted of Andy Montoya on drums, Lance Martinez on rhythm guitar, Niko Valdez on lead guitar, and Luke Peterson on vocals.

POWERHOUSE was started by playing cover songs by bands such as Judas Priest and Metallica, which spawned the first song written, entitled “Through The Ringer”. The band remained nameless for two months, and underwent several name changes.

Finally in May 2016, the band settled on the name “POWERHOUSE”.

On June 23rd 2016, POWERHOUSE played their debut show at “The Co-Op” opening for Act Of Defiance in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Quickly after, POWERHOUSE began to make a name for themselves. Just a few weeks later, Nate Crocker completed the band on bass.

POWERHOUSE began playing more live shows, writing songs that quickly became quickly crowd favorites such as “Crush ‘Em”. In December of 2016, the band had parted ways with Martinez. Leaving the group as a four piece, they continued on and started the process of making an EP.
